Experimental Music & Digital Media
2012-11-14-Laptop-Orchestra-Louisiana-Manship-0683-highThe Experimental Music & Digital Media (EMDM) program addresses the emerging understanding that technology, computation and digital resources are profoundly changing the way in which we compose, perform, study and teach music. EMDM builds off this premise and engages students and faculty in cutting-edge research that borders between computer science, engineering, art, design and music. EMDM is closely aligned with the Arts, Visualization, Advanced Technologies and Research (AVATAR) Initiative of the Center for Computation & Technology (CCT) at LSU.
